Great Sunglasses

I live in Hawaii and a good pair of sunglasses is a necessity not a nice to have. I had a pair of Costas several years ago but I couldn't find any that I liked in the Islands. Several of my friends tried to get me to switch to the Maui Jim's but they just don't offer the clarity the Costas have. I got the 580 glass with the blue mirror finish and I couldn't be happier with the glasses. The glasses are crystal clear and they do a really good job even on very bright days. They are a little heavy but I was expecting that with the glass lenses. They frames fit snug and they don't slip down even when I am hiking.

Very nice sunglasses!

I bought these sunglasses as a gift for my husband who is a huge fan of the Costa sunglasses. This is his 3rd pair. He chose the glasses himself and wanted the metal frames in the silvertone with brown lenses. The images when looking through the glasses is OUTSTANDING! There's just no comparison when viewing life through these sunglasses on a sunny day...or even overcast! The shipping took longer than expected, and came ON his actual birthday, when it should have arrived 2 days prior since I paid for EXPEDITED SHIPPING, so I was sweating bullets hoping they would arrive in time. I'm not sure if this was due to MY postal office error since I live in a small town. This should not reflect on the sunglass purchase though. The purchase price was far below anything we've found in retail stores, and although we are military and could have bought these glasses through the Exchange online program with no taxes or shipping fee and $20 cheaper, they just didn't offer the color he wanted. There was only one issue he has with the glasses, and that is the rubber covering on the left earpiece is slipping slightly, causing a small gap between the metal and the rubber, so he just pushes it back into place. He doesn't want to bear to be without the glasses to ship them back to the company for repair/exchange. They came with the blue zippered case as well for protection. Great bargain for a pair of great glasses!
