After loving my pair of Bolle Mercuria sunglasses until they were stolen (!), I was very disappointed by the design and build quality of these. The first impression after taking these from the box was CHEAP. These feel very cheaply made and low quality. The arms aren't spring loaded (which in hindsight is clear from the picture) and move very strangely. One arm is floppy loose and the other is extremely stiff (to the point that I'm afraid it'll break as I move it). I tried adjusting the screws but nothing changed. Even the nylon case that they came in is flimsier and more poorly constructed than the old case (which looked roughly identical). If they didn't say Bolle on them, I'd swear they were from a rack at a gas station.On the plus side, the lenses are nice. They are crystal clear with very little glare and great polarization. The lenses are what I expected from Bolle, even if the frames are not. The lenses are the only reason I gave any stars. I also like how they downplayed the logo and branding on the newer line. I'm not a particularly big fan of conspicuous branding and these are much more discreet.In the end I'm going to return these and grab a pair of Mercurias before I can't find them anymore. After having to deal with Bolle's customer service and repair departments, I was so impressed that I wanted to stick with Bolle for sunglasses from then on, but if it means I have to buy poor quality products like this I'm not interested. Their customer service is top notch, but it looks like their product no longer is.

I like it but not as much as I thought I would. It is replacing another Bolle pair of glasses that had lenses that were not so dark but still very good sun blockers and also nice to wear when the sun was not so bright. I like this product because of the sturdiness of the frame and the way it fits snug over the ears. I certainly recommend it if only for the reputation of the Bolle name.

These sunglasses are well built, not the cheap imitations. The quality of the lens is good - no distortion and not too dark or light. The size is probably just about right for a small-med face. One thing that I noticed was if you leave them in the car on a hot summer day, the metal frame heats up to the point where it is uncomfortable to wear. Something I had never experienced with the non-metal frames that I was used to prior to these.
