Spy in general makes sweet eye wear. I always get polar to get the full protection. The haymaker is 7th in my collection. I like taller shades for better protection so these shades are perfect, I also recamend the spy Bronsen they are sweet, I have them in white and also have the black. I recamend SPY optics in general. Ive seen so many brands and I always buy spy.

By Kitty3003
I got these in brown polarized for my boyfriend and when it comes to glasses he is very hard to please. He likes Spy because they are Italian made and built to resist his activity level. I like them because they protect his eyes and as a plus he looks hot in them. The only two minuses are the fabric case, he has a couple of Spy sunglasses from years ago and they used to come with hardcases, so what he did was kept the fabric case and put them inside a Spy hardcase for double protection when he's not using them. The other minus is the rainbow effect you get when you watch some types of crystals while driving or lcd type crystals, but I own polarized sunglasses myself and that's standard with polarized glasses. You get used to it pretty quickly. Like the previous reviewer I also felt I needed to balance the negative review on these shades. I would hate for someone to miss on a such a nice pair of Italian made polarized sunglasses. If anybody is on the fence please check out the images of Spy Haymakers on google or go to youtube and search for Spy Haymaker, that way you get an idea of the boldness of these glasses and decide if they are for you before you make a purchase you can later regret and have to return. You can also search for information of polarized glasses versus nonpolarized as well. My bf adores these, the brown polarized makes great contrast with greens and are perfect for golfing (which he also loves) and hiking.

By Joel Jacob
I feel like I have to balance out the horrible review given by someone who doesn't know how to look at a picture and be able to discern how a pair of shades look. Yes, the shades are made of plastic so they are lightweight, however the plastic is quite sturdy. The nose pieces are connected to a metal bar BEHIND the lens for additional comfort and the bar offers stability to the rest of the frame. The lens is shield style and the polarization is done well, making these excellent driving shades. Due to its size and the way it wraps around your face it blocks all sunlight that can cause distraction. Certain shades fit people differently, there are recommendations for buying shades based on your face dimensions, which can be found by searching google. My only complaint with these shades are how they sit on the ears with the design of the arm. It does tend to hurt with extended wear (more than 3 hours) but re-positioning them or taking them off for a short period of time relieves the problem. Overall these are nice shades and worth the amount I paid for them. I would recommend them to anyone willing to wear this bold look.
