I remember seeing these on TV years ago and wondered if they really worked. I tell you now that they do work and magnificently at that! When I first put these on, the yellow tint took some getting used to. However, I noticed very quickly that colors were enhanced, particularly reds and greens. My eyes were no longer straining due to the glare of the sun on reflective surfaces thanks to these sunglasses. Haze is no problem either. The kicker was in the details I noticed. I glanced at car windows and actually saw flaws in the glass due to either bad tinting or just poor manufacturing. This is an interesting effect when you actually see it.
The pair I own are the Eagle Eyes Extreme Extra. I lucked out when I bought this pair since it also had spring hinges and soft temple pads. These are the ones I suggest really looking for if you desire comfort along with great style. All of the models, however, will do just as well depending on your tastes and needs. I highly recommend these sunglasses to everyone looking for a pair that will actually benefit one's vision instead of merely being a fashion prop.

Ok, let me say that judging by the other reviews it is obvious that those people never owned a pair of polarized sunglasses before. With every pair of polarized sunglasses you always see the defects in glass. Whether it be through the windshield of a mini van or trying to look at the LCD display on a gas pump. Also Polarized lenses always bring out the colors.Now about the glasses, they are polarized, yellow lenses. This does two things:One: The polarized lenses block reflective light. This is the light at 90 degrees from the sun that is making the glare on that crome bumper ahead of you that is making it hard to see.Two: Since they have yellow lenses, they block 99% of the blue light frequency. Your eyes have a hard time reacting to the Blue light frequencies so it is hard on your eyes. Also blue light scatters and is not very directional. That is hard on your eyes.Now with a normal pair of cheap sunglasses with dark shades, what happens is your pupils expand letting in more light from the dark shades. Problem is, these normal unpolarized sunglasses don't neccisarrily block the uv light that you might not notice in turn letting in more of those harmful rays than if you weren't wearing them. These sunglasses block all of the ultraviolet light.Now about the strange, when you put these glasses on you get some bright yellow lenses. Funny thing is, even though they are bright and don't block as much light, I squint less than with my darker polarized shades. I noticed this while driving through the trees with the sun brighly peaking through the trees in spots. I tried both pairs on, and I was definitely squinting more with my darker polarized shades.Do I like them? I'm not sure. They take some getting used to, but I think I would recommmend them based on how little eye strain I have when wearing them. See, I am used to my darker shades and even though I seem to squint more with them, I am used to them.I think these glasses are excellent at twilight and would be great shooting glasses.

I'm not sure what the top reviewer used as a guide, some people complain about finding a pot of gold. I have worn these glasses in full sun, heavy rain, and everyday. Everything is crisper, clearer and more well defined. The colors are bolder, with the exception of blue which seems to get lighter or greener, depending on what you are looking at. These remind me of blue blockers in a way but they don't make yellow things look white. Every color is enhanced. This may seem odd to say but even white is whiter. They cut through glare like a knife. For example, in most conditions, one can not see the face of a driver coming from the opposite direction through the windshield. With these on, you see them plain as day. That tells me that they cut the glare off of even glass. In heavy daylight rain, they clearly give a sharper view of everything. I flipped them on and off during the storm while driving and there was very noticable differance. These should be great for a pilot or any driver. I can even see the uses in sports. I suspect that a lot of baseball players wear these in the outfield against the sun. The glare is cut down to nothing. No eye strain. I can not wait to wear these in the snow on a sunny day.The construction of these glasses is top notch. They fit well and are very comfortable. Everyone who I let try these on so far has been impressed, like WOW, impressed. I recommend them to anyone. Reasonable price also.
