I ordered these glasses from Overstock_Deals. Fulfilled by "Amazon" The product description on the website clearly states twice that the lenses are Polarized. Which retail for polarized is $130 the non-polarized lenses go for $95 retail. I will break this into sections for ease of reading.First the pros:Excluding the fact that the lenses aren't polarized. The box states lenses as "smoke" not "smoke polarized" The metal frame is top notch. Doesn't feel like a cheap flimsy metal, yet isn't overly heavy either. For a Made in China product build quality is pretty decent. The design is nice in the lenses seem to almost float in the way they are attached to the frames.Next the negitives:1. The lenses marked on the box QGY1024 with some Google searching turns up that these are the lenses for smoke non-polarized.2. The first clue for me to even bring suspect to this was that there were multiple stickers placed over top of the boxes item description label. This is fishy vendor tactics to cover up sending a similar product of lesser value. Peeling back a blank layer followed by 2 other layers which both contained different product codes. First layer reads x000dvnwjn followed by the description Gargoyles Men's The Marshall Metal Sunglasses, Gun Frame/ Smoke Lens, One size. The second printed layer reads b001v9k71y Gargoyles Me's The Marsh Metal Sunglasses, Gun Frame/Smoke Lens, One size. Peeling back to the original layer it reads Style: The Marshall Lens: Smoke Frame Gun QGY1024 with the lower right corner peeled off. I checked and it was not torn when I removed the top layers as it would be stuck to the under side.3. This again may be attributed to the vendor and not Gargoyles glasses as a whole. These glasses look like they may have been previously returned by another customer. I have never owned Gargoyles before, but I have read others comments saying that is nice that they include extra screws etc. I didn't receive any such extra screws. Furthermore the lenses were covered in lint. I also pulled a loose plastic bag from the carry sock. I don't know if this plastic sleeve was meant to hold something or if it was made to go over the legs to prevent scratches during shipping?? Also, the screws which hold the nose pads in place don't have nuts on the back side to keep them from backing out. In fact the one on the left nose piece was already worked roughly half way out. All the other points on the glasses had small nuts holding screws in place. Again I have never owned these before so not sure if that is standard. At the minimum I would assume they would use some type of thread lock to keep them in place as that point is the one that would be likely to relieve the most work in terms of flexing.Shipping: Shipping was not really fast, but I think this was due to Amazon having to package multiple items from different vendors together. It took 6 days just to ship. Ordered on a Tuesday. Delivery was Amazon super saver which is listed as 5-8 Business Days which it then took 5 days in Transit. So, that was as expected. The box it was shipped in arrived undamaged and the items inside were well organized and had a nice layer of bubble pack to keep them from sliding around which is great on Amazon's part. All in all other than the 6 day lead on gathering the 5 items together shipping was good.Summary:If I had paid the ~$40 less for these as a non-polarized pair of sunglasses I would be pretty happy. Taking into account the likely-hood that these are a returned pair. I think these are some durable sunglasses with solid build quality that would last me for several years. In short I will give Gargoyles another shot at protecting my eyes from UV rays. The vendor Overstock_Deals will not get any further business from me, and I would highly suggest that you steer clear of them as well. Shame this is the first negative experience I have had with any vendor that fulfills through Amazon. I am going to be picking these up from another vendor...I will update this review once I receive my second pair. Also, will include some details on how Amazon handles the returns for any that are interested on how smooth, or not it is.Thanks for reading and I hope this helps you all in your decision to buy some new shades.

I owned a pair of Gargoyles several years ago and knew the quality and durability. I wear my sunglasses everyday for commuting and on weekends for activities. I try to keep them in their cases but often leave them in the center console, so they tend to scratch after a few months. So far, these Gargoyles are handling the wear and tear as expected.
