Water for your eyes!

These sunglasses are simply amazing. To provide some background, I am highly biased towards polarized sunglasses. After working in a sporting goods store in high school, and now driving an ambulance for several years, polarized lens' offer relief that even the darkest lens sunglasses cannot provide.That being said, I have tried several other brands including Oakley, Electric, Von Zipper, Ray Ban, and some Sun Belt brands. While each of these brands offer cool styling and decent construction, I found that they have their flaws. Sunglasses are very personal items, yet for me, the other brands sat uncomfortably on my head, had loose hinges, and/or cracked with frequent use.The two pairs of Hoven that I have owned have been exceptionally consistent both in quality and in style.PROS:The "TIMES" offer a bold look that is relatively light but offer great wrap around coverage. The lens curves slightly to provide peripheral coverage, and the arms are thick enough to block out unwanted light. The range of vision is generous, and the curvature of the earpiece is kind to even the most sensitive of ears. The lens' are dark, and the polarization is consistent knocking out painful glare with out distorting your field of vision. After almost 10 months of ownership the hinges are still tight and don't scratch the inner lens. These glasses offer 100% UV protection and even have a life time warranty. I have even dropped these while working a few times and the frames have never crackedThe glasses also come in a black sock with red draw string.CONS:While these glasses provide great coverage, sometimes I can see my eyes reflect in the inner lens depending on the angle of the light. In addition, the lens' are a poly carbonate that will scratch (like any other poly carbonate lens.)*In addition if your head is small these glasses will probably look too big on you. I have a medium to large sized sunglasses face and they fit well for me. Don't take my word for it though! Go to any local store, try them on, and then score a better price online.
