rb2151 black frame/grey green lenses

Luxotica redeemed themselves. I have worn only Ray-Bans since 1986. My first pair of non Bausch&Lomb, Luxotica Ray-Bans. Model 2113, tortoise with amber polarized lenses. The lenses are great but the frames and hardware feel and look cheap. They have flex hinges, and the distinguishing temple bullets look like the cheap 80's imitation version. I wear them but not often because they are loose and feel too fragile to wear daily. My mid 90's chroma predators are awesome and I love them but after 14I years I really wanted some good wayfarers. I looked online for original b&l wayfarers but they want way too much for them. I decided to give the 2151's a try, figured I'd just return them if they were as poor as the 2113's in quality.Rb2151.I was Delighted with the fit and finish of these glasses! No cheap polycarbonate lenses, they are glass. Luxotica have been using polycarbonate in many styles that B&L used glass. So I was ready to return them if that were the case. The metal bullets are perfect, just like the old ones, may be a silly point but they really set these apart from generic knock offs. The frame material has the look and feel of those old acetate frames. These are perfect in every way and I'm loving the sharper square shape. They look more masculine than the originals. I'm very good at keeping sunglasses in good shape and they last me a long time but I'm considering buying a second pair before they disappear.My hat size is 7 1/8-7 1/4, these glasses fit my face and head as if tailor made just for me. Snug and sturdy. If your head is much bigger they may fit tight, much smaller and they may be loose. These are the 52[]21size for reference.I'm not going to play up a sub standard product no matter how long I've been a fan. The new predators are crap, so are the rb2113's but these rb2151's are outstanding!I give them a perfect score.

Awesome Glasses

These shades are awesome!!! They fit perfectly and look way cooler than the original Wayfarers that's everywhere now. Eyewear was really helpful and quick to resend the package to a different address when shipping had some problems. Overall, good vendor and great product!

Great Shades

Ordered these recently. I'm really happy with them since they are hard to find these days, I just wish I could have found them polarized. The glasses are slanted like normal raybans, however I will note that they are not truly square. So if you are looking for actual square sunglasses, then you should look elsewhere. Maui Jim has some good looking ones.
