By Nate
I bought these for road cycling. As I go from full sun to shade very frequently and photochromatic lenses are suppose to transition from dark to light.I was looking for an affordable pair of Photochromatic Sunglasses that fit well, were polarized, and looked nice.PROSlooks stylish - basic look that is stylish for many different activitiesfit well - fit well on my face with out my slippage during riding ( big plus)polarized - definitely polarized and cut down on glareprice - for photochromatic lenses they are definitely on the low side (you get what you pay for)CONSnever transitioned - lenses never transitioned in full sun or shade...the tint stayed the same. (#1 reason i bought these)flimsy - they don't give the impression that they will withstand a lot of abuse. If you are looking for a sturdy sports sunglasses that transition from light to dark...I would recommend going with another pair.

By S. Jacobs
I ordered these for the work; I am a law enforcement Park Ranger and spend most of my time outdoors.I wanted polarized glasses for the work I do on the water in a rescue boat. These glasses are well polarized; they cut down glare dramatically and allow me to see much further into the water than non-polarized glasses.I also wanted photochromic glasses because I typically work evenings. When I get to work it's bright daylight and I work until far after dark. After dark I need eye protection from flying insects, also when in the boat, but also while patrolling on an ATV. I didn't want to have to carry two pair of glasses so I could have a dark pair and a clear pair. These glasses are questionable at best in that regard. I *think* they might get a bit darker in full daylight, and they also *might* get a tad lighter in full darkness...but no so much that you'd notice either way if you weren't absolutely looking for it.The construction of these glasses also leaves a bit to be desired. The lenses are not attached very well; you have to be very careful when cleaning them (and I do mean VERY careful) or the lenses will pop out. They're attached with a screw, so they won't come completely out, but having to reinsert them in the frame every time I clean them is annoying. That being said, they are comfortable to wear, but most sunglasses of this type are comfortable. All in all, I wouldn't buy again.

By Antonio Piccolboni
They broke just putting them in the back pocket of a biking jersey. Great to wear ultralight glasses, but there's ultralight and there's flimsy. I would concur that the photochromic effect is not very strong.
