Angles. It's all about the angles. The Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Iridium takes the same exact frame as the Flak Jacket, but has a slightly larger, more squared-off XLJ lens. So you get all the same features, only with a little more coverage for larger faces.As with the standard Flak Jacket, the XLJ is all about sport, and it's all about lifestyle. It looks and works just right whether you're groveling in your drops or kicking back with a cold one. This kind of multi-purpose use is appealing for the simplicity it affords.The Flak Jacket has an O Matter frame for lightweight, durability, and comfort, and the Unobtanium nose piece and ear socks help make the three-point fit as secure as wearing full-face goggles. High Definition Optics on Plutonite lenses offer great clarity, and to keep them that way, Oakley coats the lenses with a hydrophobic and oleophobic solution. These are features on all of Oakley's sport glasses; they haven't skimped just because the look here is fashionable. And being both sporty and fashionable is what the Flak Jacket is about.The Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Iridium comes in a Matte White frame with Jade Iridium lenses. Jade has a neutral green base with a mirror coating for sunny days; it allows 17% light transmission. It comes with a hard case and a soft bag, the latter for cleaning and stowing the glasses in a pocket. There are also two sets of nose pieces to customize the fit.

I recieved these glasses as a present for xmas (2009). I dont know if i would have picked these glasses as my first choice if i were buying on my own, only because i like the ice lenses. However, i must say....i have been wearing these for 8 months and i really do like them very much. They fit very comfortably and snug and i hardly ever have to adjust them as they stay in place pretty good, even while golfing. The are all black and the lense do a great job of keeping the bright glare out of your eyes. the lense are dark so when you look thru them its not going to brighten up your surroundings, but they are very clear, and have a great look to them. i have gotten many compliment on them. people can not tell where your looking when your wearing them. When looking at them its like looking into a mirror. These lense seem to be very scratch resistent. I am not the most carefull person when it comes to treating my sunglasses, but i dont have a scratch or ding on these as of yet.....guess i will start paying more attention to keep it that way. I must say, even tho they would prob not have been my first choice.....these really have grown on me and are a great pair of "dominator" sunglasses. Hope this helps.

This was my first pair of real sunglasses. I had been buying dewalt shaded safety glasses at 10 bucks a pop for years. I have now had these for almost 2 years. I have worn them every signle day, all day. When I am inside, I put them on top of my hat and they stay put. They fit very well. When they are on top of my head not in use, I have to double check to make sure they are still there because they are so light and comfortable. I used to think people were crazy for buying expensive glasses. I will never own another pair of $10 shades. If I lost or broke these today, I would go buy another pair of the exact same glasses tomorrow without question. Buy them.

I find it difficult to find glasses that fit and feel good...these do both. I like that I can swap out the lenses (like most Oakleys) and they are fairly tough.
