Polarized for Pennies

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these shades. A pair of polarized aviator's, for just under 30 bucks? I wasn't expecting much at all, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The fit nice. They look nice. The lense coatings were applied well.....no noticeable waves/runs/lines/etc ....Clear, sharp lenses and seemingly well made frames. The one kick in the pants I have for them, and the only reason they got a 4 instead of a 5, was their less than intelligent method of shipment. They put the glasses in a platic bag, dropped them in a super thin bubble lined manila envelope and shipped them UPS. No protection whatsoever! No....the thin bubble wrap doesn't count, when its lining a paper envelope! The glasses were amazingly "OK" when they got here, but it was PURE LUCK on the shipping departments part, and my good luck on the handling by UPS! They did need a bit of adjusting from where the frames had been bent a little, but when I saw what was in the envelope, I was shocked at how lucky I was that they weren't completely ruined. So...the moral of this story is: Hire someone to run your shipping department, who has the same common sense as the designer of these glasses, and you'll be in great shape!

You get what you pay for.

These shades cost me CAN$55 after shipping and tax. They do not have the Body Glove logo on the lense as shown in the pic. I was surprised that they were shipped in an envelope, with a thinn plastic bag to protect them. They were bent out of shape, smudged and dusty. After cleaning and bending them back to shape, they resemble a pair that you can get at a gas station for 9.99. Very dissappointed, but lesson learned. Donnt buy anything without first handling it in person.

Not even close to what is shown in the image.

The glasses I received had a branded piece of paper with the price hanging on the frame, but what shown in the image are both lenses branded, the left one with the logo and the right one with the name, none of my lenses is branded. Besides that, there are a lot of marks all over the left lens due to Faulty Manufacturing, I feel totally fooled, even when I was expecting pretty much nothing because of the price tag, I was shocked when I opened the box, and found what I received inside a plastic bag. Don't even worth it to try to return them, it would cost me nearly the same I paid for the glasses to do it.
