I found out about these sunglasses by one of our clients. She came in with them on, took them off and she still has her prescription glasses on. I said, "Wow, can I see those?" and then I went to work on-line. These sunglasses are awesome. They protect my sensitive blue eyes from the sun very, very well and with that sidepiece that they have, no sunlight can slip in. You do need to make sure that you measure all of your prescription glasses if you intend to wear the cocoons with all of them. I had to notch up to the pilot as one of my pairs would not fit the smaller frame. I am happy that I got a pair of these, as now I can wear sunglasses while driving.

I had a pair of Cocoons for at least two years and wore them all the time (it's *really sunny* in Arizona). Finally one of the lenses popped out. I ordered them on line (they were cheaper than the doctor's office) and they arrived fast and in great shape. I wear a large even though am female with a regular size face. You can adjust the sides to fit perfectly. Update: Flash forward to 2010. I am now on my third pair! I finally lost the ones I had. I went right to Amazon and rummaged through my old orders to get another pair. Total Cocoon addict.

I hesitated to spend the money on these, but they are worth it. Optics are very good and they have held up nicely. Much better quality then similar cheaper pairs. They are large so don't fit in a pocket easily, but great for the boat or car. They come with a nice carry case.
